How can I join your network?

Do I have to upload my videos/songs to my channel for you to be able to monetize UGC?
No, you aren't required to have a channel to monetize on YouTube. Once you sign up to the network we'll send you instructions on how to send us your videos or audio to monetize your UGC.
What makes you different from the other companies that provide YouTube services?
We provide a high level of customer service with the aim to reply to all customer emails in shortest possible time, typically within 24 hours. It is rare to see a channel leave but most of the time it returns at a later date after channel owner realises that we provide the best customer service in comparison to others.
I have a Third Party Claim on my video - will my account be affected?
If your channel has received a third party claim from Laika Network, it means that your video contains content from one of our channels. Your channel status will not be affected. However, you can't monetize a video which contains content created by someone else, even when you've uploaded the video to your channel.
People are uploading my videos on YouTube - what can I do?
Email us at info@laikanetwork.com with the URLs for your original video and URLs of other people uploading your video, you might be suited to join Laika Network so we can help you manage your rights on YouTube.
I uploaded a video I recorded on my phone at a concert - why has it been claimed?
Once you upload a concert to YouTube, Facebook or any other publicly viewable website the video you filmed falls under copyright law and is subject to what the original owner of the content that appears in the video wants to do with it.

I have a Strike on a video - if I delete the video does the strike get lifted?
No. We strongly discourage anyone from deleting a video with a strike. If you have received a strike from Laika Network and you believe it is incorrect, you can email us at info@laikanetwork.com
A strike has been applied to one of my videos incorrectly or maliciously - what can I do?
You can either dispute or appeal the strike. Alternatively, you can email us to request a review on info@laikanetwork.com
My video is not being monetised - what can I do?
We recommend that you use the Monetization Troubleshooter to find out why your video is no longer eligible for monetization.
