With the year drawing to a close, YouTube has once again revealed the most popular videos of the year. After Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ featuring Daddy Yankee broke the most-watched record this year, we were excited to see who made the list.
This time, YouTube decided to separate the popular videos into top trending and top music videos. Compiled by looking at views, likes, comments and shares, the top trending videos were viewed more than 633 million times. And for over 40 million hours.
Our personal favourite has to be this glorious moment, being the number 10 on the list.

We already mentioned it. The number one this year goes to the two Puerto Rican artists who dethroned Gangnam Style after five years as the most viewed video of all times. And no, we are not talking about the Justin Bieber version but the feel-good original.
